This installation is a commentary on the under addressed issue of the high rate of breast cancer in Latina women and women of color. It also deals with misconceptions and beliefs systems within our own community. 
This combination of various mixed media items resembles huge breasts, over 11 ft in length, suspended from the ceiling hanging above oval bowl-like vessels containing soil and rusted nails representing the death of womanhood and life.
